Diplomacy Lab is a partnership with universities across the United States that enables The Department of State to “course-source” research and innovation. Every year The Office of Global Partnerships invites all participating universities in the Diplomacy Lab Network to come showcase their work at the Diplomacy Lab Fair and Wonk Tank Competition!
The Wonk Tank Competition is a foreign policy pitching competition for university students to showcase their ability to be America’s next great “policy wonk.” Future wonks are invited to pitch policy proposals addressing a specific international problem or challenge requiring attention. Three finalists are invited to the Diplomacy Lab Fair and Wonk Tank competition to pitch their proposal in front of a panel of DOS officials and a live audience.
