2019 National Meeting: Citizen Diplomacy Luncheon (Full)

The Citizen Diplomacy Luncheon of the 2019 Global Ties U.S. National Meeting celebrated the work and spirit of citizen diplomacy. Introductory remarks were delivered by Al and Sharon Durtka, supporters of the Emerging Leaders Program, on the importance of building up youth with early engagement in global affairs. This was followed by the presentation of the Citizen Diplomat Award by Peggy Parfenoff, President of WorldChicago and a member of the Global Ties U.S. Board of Directors, to Serve2Unite, an organization in Milwaukee, WI led by Pardeep Singh Kaleka and Arno Michaelis.
