Following a letter written by the US, the UK, Switzerland, Netherlands and Germany through their diplomats, the Department of International Cooperation or DIRCO, held a meeting with the diplomatic representatives of the five countries to raise its concerns about the matter yesterday.
According to DIRCO, THE CONTENT of the letter which – urged President Ramaphosa to deal with corruption in the country – IS NOT OF CONCERN to the department however THE WAY IN WHICH this communiqué was presented was not according to protocol.
