The Harry Potter 7th book, the Deathly Hallows is JK Rowlings favorite of the Potter editions. In her words, it was where the story was always leading and the ending she had planned for seventeen years. It all started in 1997 with the first book of Potter magic, the Sorcerers Stone. I cant really remember life before that can you? I just remember it as being pretty boring.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the 7th book was released on 21 July 2007. In the first 24 hours it sold 15 million copies, beating the 6th book, the Half Blood Prince which only sold a mere 9 million in the first 24 hours!

The first part of the Deathly Hallows will be in cinemas in 2010. It is to be screened in 2 parts, part 2 will be screened the year after in 2011.

In a live chat show, JK Rowling mentioned that she had other titles in mind for the 7th book. Before she decided on the Deathly Hallows, she revealed that she had been considering Harry Potter and the Elder Wand and Harry Potter and the Peverell Quest.

It will be a sad day when there are no more Potter movies to be released, but will the wizardry legend ever really end? No, of course not. If you are like me and have the full set of books, then I am sure you will pass them on through the generations. It would be a shame for a child to have their childhood not filled with the magic of Potter.
