Please join us at CSIS for a discussion on the role of higher education in U.S. diplomacy and foreign policy. By welcoming students from all over the world to study at U.S. institutions of higher education, the United States has successfully shared its knowledge and values with a generation of intelligent and driven future leaders.
Many of these students, often from lower or middle-income countries, go on to become business leaders, academics, and influential policymakers in their countries of origin. This discussion will focus on how U.S. policymakers can leverage these exchange programs to address the nexus of higher education, public diplomacy, and development, benefiting both the United States and our partners.
