Getting Rid Of Political Corruption in Washington DC – The Way to Clean House In Government?

How is it possible to drain the swamp in American Politics? I sometimes wonder if that is even possible. My personal view is, yes, I'd like to drain the swamp too, I just want to drain the left-side of the swamp first, not sure how that would work. Back in late 2015 we discussed the issues with political corruption at our think thank and how to go about it, we determined it was necessary to 'clean house' or what Donald Trump calls; draining the swamp.

One of our think tankers asked; "What if the release of findings are to the people via an honest media source that reports on news as they really should?"

Yes, expose the corruption, kind of like WikiLeaks attempted to do with the DNC. Of course, one of the challenges is that much of the shenanigans going on in american politics are not even considered serious by the masses (more so business as usual), as long as they get their free stuff or the politician is of their party, they don't care. In the case of a reporter, if they lean-left they down play the allegations of Democrats and act as apologetics, then attack Republican politicians and leaders.

As a writer, I have no need for a Pulitzer, and I don't always place a lot of value on self-righteous whistleblowers, especially those who are involved and want immunity or have an ax to grind, or have done something dishonest to do the whistleblowing. I especially dislike traitors.

Our thinker also stated; "You know findings will also make their way to giant news corporations as well through the backdoor pipeline."

I suppose, and yet how will this information be derived? Remember Rupert Murdock scandal? Remember the HP scandal with the board members getting cell phone call records? Although there is some immunity, theoretically from the media not to reveal sources, that would mean being dishonest in the process. Can we even trust the media? I don't.

Another issue I see is that if this were not totally nonpartisan, it wouldn't work. I bet there are many very political animals on both sides of the aisle and secondary parties would want the NSA information for instance to clobber their political rivals. In fact, that could change history, even destroy the country if done wrong or un-orchestrated. (Remember: this was a conversation in late 2015).

Our thinker now notes: "We need good agents, and backed by a think tank (which can provide targets), it could prove effective."

Boy you'd have to have some super people on your team, integrity beyond reproach, and you'd have to have the command and control of the organization stay out of sight and out of mind (invisible almost). I don't know anyone I can trust at that level, only one, and I am unconvinced I'd want to do it, even if I understand the need.

You see, I also understand the animal, the political animal. I understand the competitive aspects and the type of person needed to do the job. Have you ever participated in politics? Some of these people are worse than stock brokers at the wire house, selling penny stocks, or working in boiler rooms. Last liar wins.

Indeed, I believe the United States Supreme Court has been compromised by corporations giving jobs and high-paying consulting gigs to immediate family members of our Supreme Court Justices. We cannot allow this. We must remove and replace those members on the Supreme Court who've allowed these compromises to affect their decision making. We need to look too at the Executive Branch, the Senate, and all Congressional Members of BOTH parties not just one.

We need to look at ALL governors, and ALL top bureaucrats at the Federal and State Levels, once we do this, we need that serious commitment to anti-corruption to make it all the way down to the municipal level. Think on it.

Political Ponerology – Book Review of the Pseudo Science of Pathological Leaders

Often victims become bullies, as research shows, and perhaps the worst offenders on society are those who’ve been damaged themselves, and want revenge. We know that revenge is a very strong psychological motivator indeed. Victims who have actually been abused or convince themselves they’ve been abused, even though their own failures have brought them down, are perhaps the most dangerous of all in our society.

There is an interesting book on this topic, one you may wish to read if you want to get a victim’s hateful diatribes and revengeful take on pathological behavior. The author makes the unbelievable and incoherent ascertain that four percent of population is unable to discern right from wrong using the conscience because they have none to start with. Indeed, the victim is a polish gentleman who dealt with NAZI rule, and then Stalin after the war.

The victim with all his hateful rage came up with “theories” attempting to purport them as facts, that certain bloodlines of elites contained the gene set allowing them to operate in society without conscience. Thus, giving them the advantage of life and actions without guilt – which is why they often rise to the top of society leaving broken dreams, destruction, debris, and even death in their wakes. This victim, uses his so-called pseudo science to persuade the reader of these ascertains.

Why did I even bother to read this book? An individual who considers himself a non-acquaintance of mine after an online email discussion recommended it to me. The book goes into theories of evil, and claims to be scientific, it’s not really, but it is very interesting – the name of the book is:

“Political Ponerology: A Science on The Nature of Evil adjusted for Political Purposes,” by Andrzej Lobaczewki – edited by Laura Knight-Jadczyk, New Leaf Distribution, (2007), pages 239, ISBN: 978-189-72442-58.

This book is completely interesting, but it goes on to become a political hit piece no better than Mein Koff in my opinion, as it attacks a former American President George W. Bush. The author and particularly the editor will not come to the realization that Stalin was a communist and Hitler was a socialist as they attack the US president’s personal character. Indeed, I felt sorry for the author that his life became a hateful revenge mission to attack our leaders, but I was really taken aback by the evil cunning nature of how this book used Lobaczewki’s work as a political hit piece.

Worse, it’s amazing that the editor of this book does not dare trash our current sitting president who is by all definitions a socialist leaning and thinking leader. Indeed, due to the low approval ratings of President Bush towards the end of his second term, I do not doubt the book was popular and re-kindled Lebaczewki’s pseudo-science. The reality is there is absolutely NO empirical evidence whatsoever to back up the claims in this book, even though it claims to be scientific.

Did, I enjoy this book? Yes, I thought it was comical in a way, as it reflected the sick mind of a victim tormented and unable to come to terms with his own evil thoughts, or the evil which had ruined his life experience. Thus, he was a damaged and driven soul. But, I do believe that this book is dangerous, as it is that of what ignites conspiracy theory.

Would I buy this book again? Oh, certainly no. Would I read it for free if available? Only chapter II, so please consider all this, and please be careful what you read and why, and be wise enough to look at the true motivation of such authors as they cry foul.

America’s Sad State Of Political Affairs: The 4 D’s

Whether you consider yourself a progressive/ liberal, conservative, or moderate, or any other, so – called, label, most would agree, the degree of dysfunction, in the United States of America’s political system, appears to be, at an all – time high, at least, in recent memory! There is very little purpose, in playing the blame – and – complain, game, yet, that is precisely what we witness, almost daily. Rather than having productive discussions, and civil discourse, those with differing perspectives, and political positions/ views, each side often, blames the others, and proceeds, with blinders, and resorts to often, being unwilling to, even, listen, to anyone with a differing opinion! With that in mind, this article will attempt to briefly, consider, review, and discuss, what I refer to, as the sad, pitiful, unproductive, 5 D’s of today’s political discourse.

1. Delusion: It’s often, challenging, to know, if certain individuals, in politics, actually believe what they say, or if it is merely, political rhetoric, but, regardless, there is always danger, when this path is pursued. Are these politicians, delusional, or are their followers, or both? What harm might occur, when reality is ignored, and they believe, only, their opinions and perspectives? When facts are replaced by Fake Facts, delusion replaces relevant, sustainable, viable solutions! For example, is our President, delusional, lying, or self – serving?

2. Distortion: When we are represented by people, who distort the issues, to serve their personal/ political agenda, and/ or self – interest, the public generally suffers. While each person is certainly, entitled to his opinion, no one is entitled to their own set of facts!

3. Diversion: The political era of Donald Trump, will be evaluated, in the future, and historians will consider, why so many people, seemed to be willing to accept the many diversions, rather than demand, better! Doesn’t it seem, often, when things seem to be, going, other than President Trump’s way, he resorts to diversion, to take our attention away from challenging, and/ or, concerning issues?

4. Digression: Wouldn’t it be nicer, and better, for our citizens, if, we would have our perceptions, priorities, and concerns, addressed, and answered, rather than, when questions were asked, our so – called representative, digressed, and changed the subject?

5. Desperation: Often, politicians, and public/ elected officials, resort to desperate measures, in order to serve their best interests, rather than ours! Why don’t we elect people, willing to listen effectively, to all opinions, rather than, merely, their own view?

Consider these 5 D’s, so we can focus on what we need, rather than politics, and rigidity! When will the American electorate, wake – up, and elect leaders, who possess integrity, ethics, and focus on the common good?
