5 Ways, Today’s Abnormal Politics, Produces Unwanted Ramifications

Regardless of one’s personal/ political agenda, positions, preferences, etc, it should be quite obvious, these times aren’t normal! For the first two centuries, of this nation’s existence and history, we elected individuals, to serve, in the highest positions, in the land, whose political positions, were, largely, close to the middle, of the spectrum! In fact, many historians proclaimed, most of these people, fell within, approximately, five percent, of the middle. In 1980, when Ronald Reagan, was elected President, he held several positions, which fell outside that range, but, on many others, his policies were standard. However, when Donald Trump was elected President, in November, 2016, this nation began its path, along unchartered waters, and many historians, believe, we have never witnessed, in this country, the policies, behavior, actions, and/ or, rhetoric, which he has used! With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, 5 ways, today’s abnormal politics, will probably bring forth, unwanted/ undesirable ramifications.

1. Tariffs/ trade wars: Mr. Trump has weaponized tariffs, and trade wars! Although, he insists, others will pay for these, the reality is, the American consumer, ends up paying! It is, similar, to a regressive tax, and, largely, harms poorer and middle class citizens, far more than, wealthier individuals. Since, so many items are manufactured in China, the existing tariffs, as well as those, already proposed, to take effect, September 1, will, soon, cause higher prices. It will hit, especially hard, electronics (including cell phones, computers, televisions, etc), automobiles (the vehicles and many parts), and many articles of clothing. Millions of Americans, depend on WalMart, for many of their needs, and, a trade war, and tariffs on Chinese goods, will harm their purchase power. Either this will slow sales (potential – recessions), or raise costs (potential – inflation)!

2. Hate Crimes: Whether, because, his rhetoric, and actions, has enabled those with negative attitudes, etc, or, inspired these responses, etc, we have witnessed, a significant increase in the number, and severity of hate crimes! This includes anti – Semitism, anti – Islamic, etc, behaviors and offenses! It has also, created a sense of fear, for those, wishing to express, their Freedom of Speech.

3. Irreparable harm with traditional allies: While, often, appearing to embrace, some of the leaders of traditional foes, such as Russia, North Korea, etc, and accepting, Putin’s word, over our intelligence personnel, President Trump has also confronted our traditional allies, such as Japan, Germany, France, Mexico, Canada, United Kingdom, etc. How might this impact, our relations, with the democratic nations of the world, in the future, when our leader, has embraced the Saudi Prince, about potential criminal behavior, even though, our own experts, seem to have little doubt, about his connection, to the murder of a reporter?

4. Traditional American freedoms: What do we stand for, if we don’t put freedoms of speech, the press, etc, as significant necessities? Unless/ until, we prioritize the principles of our Constitution, when it comes to, freedoms, liberty, and justice, for all, we will lose the right, to stand – up, for human rights, around the world!

5. Polarization: The rhetoric, promises, and often – prejudiced/ biased positions of this President, has polarized Americans, in a way, which we have never before witnessed. America will only achieve the greatness, it deserves, when we emphasize, a meeting – of – the – minds, for the common good!

Wake up, America, this isn’t normal! Either, we protect and restore our freedoms, or our way of life, will be harmed, for many years, to come!

3 Ways Your Husband Might Be Acting a Little Suspicious

In a perfect world, none of us would have any type of relationship issues or problems. We would be able to trust our significant others and we would not have to experience a tinge of jealousy or suspicion. When you are in love, it can sometimes be hard to figure out when things are a real concern or simply figments of our imaginations.

Have you ever thought that your husband was acting in ways that are unusual? Maybe you have struggled with yourself about it; wondering if you should dismiss it or if you should confront him. You are definitely not alone. Here are just a few things to look out for when it comes to suspicious activity.

He Stays Out Later than Usual

One sign of suspicious activity is that all of the sudden your husband starts staying out later than usual. He may make excuses that he has to work late when he has never had to work late before. He may get defensive when you ask about his work schedule or he may even tell you that he has no idea when he is going to be home from work.

He may also begin staying out later with friends. When you ask him whom he is going out with, he may be vague about details. He may say that he is going out with friends that he usually doesn't hang out with or people that you may not know very well. He may even make excuses as to why he doesn't want you to go out with him or why it may not be a great idea for you to meet these friends.

Changes in Hygiene or Dress

If your husband begins getting up earlier than usual to get ready for work, you may be rightly suspicious. He may display a new zeal for his outward appearance. He may be more concerned about his clothes matching or wearing nicer outfits. He may wear cologne more often. If your husband has a job that requires him to dress nicely on a daily basis, you may not have too much to worry about.

On the other hand, if he is all of the sudden overly concerned about his clothes and the way he smells when he is supposed to be going out with friends, this is definitely suspicious.

Changes in Sex Drive or Style

If your husband is acting differently in the bedroom, this is definitely a reason to be suspicious. There is nothing wrong if he is becoming a bit more adventurous, but if he is doing things that are totally outside of the norm, you may have a reason to be concerned.

Another thing to be wary of is if he has a sudden drop or a sudden rise in his sex drive. After you have been married for a while it is normal for there to be slight variances in bedroom behavior, however if there are changes that are too radical, it might be time to have a talk with your husband.

By no means are any of these signs 100 percent proof that your husband is being unfaithful. If you are feeling suspicious, sit down and have a talk with him. Do not accuse him but tell him how you are feeling. Ask him to take you out with him just to ease your mind. Good communication is a cornerstone of any good marriage.

3 Quick and Easy Ways to Develop Customer-Focused Content

Question: What’s your problem?

Everyone has one. Whether we admit it or not.

Most of us that fire up our browsers and dig into the search engines, on a quest to find good information. Truth be told, if you are doing a search for an information product – you are looking to solve a real problem.

The problem may take a variety of forms: How To???….Where To???…When To?? What??? We’ll sift through hundreds of sites, bookmark, print and tag those sites that we believe offer the most value, or perhaps the answer our question as quickly and painlessly as possible. So, as internet marketeers it’s our duty to offer solutions in the form of good content. Good content gives real value… “stellar content” rocks the audience and keeps them coming back for more.

Unfortunately, as internet marketeers, one of our biggest problems is product or content development. Before we can be the “saving grace” for any potential customer, we have to come to terms with our own “pain” and our need to find a solution that works. It’s easy to simply declare ourselves experts in our respective area of interest. Its a lot smarter to get a handle on what the needs are and build a solution based on the need or demand.

I remember when I created my first website and E zine for technology and music enthusiasts. I started out with an unbridled passion for both subject areas. I hired a staff of writers, conducted interviews, set up a list of paid and “gratis” advertisers and created a full color pdf magazine. I was in publisher’s heaven! – Then, when my sales numbers fell short, the reality set in. I failed to ask the important questions…these fundamental questions that would have put my advertisers at ease, and offer my audience a ray of hope. I failed to ask the number one question most people fail to ask when they have

a bright idea( and a just enough resources to pull it off).

Next Question: What do you want????

I know I sound kinda cranky here. But this is it…. “What do you want?”… the magic question that kept eluding me. Why? Was it ego? My own creativity getting in the way? Did I operate in a vacuum or did I assume that my audience would just “get it “and support my efforts (whether my little product satisfied their needs or not.) Without a real snapshot of what my audience needed or wanted, I found myself constantly defining or re-defining my focus.

To save you all from any additional grief or pain, I’ve identified 3 key steps in the process of content development.

1. Identify your prospects real problems and needs.

Your assignment if you choose to accept it is to simply fill in the gap. Find out what the prospects really need or want. Don’t just copy what many of the internet marketeers have done, give yourself permission to come up with something fresh. This may become the start of a new relationship with a business partner. (Woot!!!)

* Survey your audience by asking questions and take copious notes. You can build relationships with your audience by sending out a simple online survey. It may seem a little scary to lead with a survey, but you invite your audience to participate in product development that is customized to suit their needs. You come out looking like a hero when you create a simple solution to the problem. (Yay you!)

* Survey other people’s audience. Research the competition and figure out what they are doing that works.

* Read testimonials and commentaries. These are little gems of wisdom and experience. Why not make it a point to actually read testimonials to see what people are thankful for and excited about. Real testimonials get to the heart of the matter and if you can hold back the tears you may find them to be a very valuable source of information, concepts and key works. What the user got out of the experience or product is

very good data.

2. Brainstorm possible solutions to a number of problems.

List topics drawn from your areas of expertise… or someone elses.

Its’ OK to toot your own horn here. Brainstorm a list of 25 things you can talk about off the top of your head with a measure of authority. If you have just drawn a blank here… never fear! Take a moment and type in “information products” in one of your favorite search engines. You’ll retrieve a list that will get your creative juices flowing.

OK so you’re not an expert in anything really? You are in luck. There are hundreds of topics that have been covered by information gurus. You can take a look at their titles and put your own spin on an existing concept. (Note. Never plagiarize an idea or program, but you can get inspired by some of what is out there and even give the original author or source credit. Cite sources as needed.

* Visit guru sites as well as the information product sites for examples of top internet information products.

3. Give them the SOLUTION – Develop Great Content.

Basically this is not your common “Make $$$ Money Secrets Online… blah blah blah.” Create content that will excite your specific audience and motivate them to press the “Share” button. Great content may be delivered in the FORM of a PDF, YouTube video, Facebook Fan page, email blast etc. but, it’s the content – the information, style, tone and voice that will capture the heart and mind of your audience.

Make your content a reflection of you. Bold – Impressive, Easy to Understand.

and effective, but design it to suit the wants and needs of your audience.

Great content does the following:

* Grabs the attention of the audience (ah ha moments all around

* Tells a story

* Clear, crisp and concise

* Shares your ideas (and reveals your passion/heart)

* Adds real value – affects the reader in some positive way

* Focused on the needs of your audience

There are hundreds maybe even thousands of people out there competing for your audience’s attention. Your content doesn’t have to be filled with capital words or exclamation points, but it should be memorable, and it should give the audience a reason to come back for more. If you are the solution provider you must design a solution that meets or exceed expectations.

To do this, you must simply give the audience what they want…then repeat.

Rock Your Content,

tkey:)

5 Ways to Make Money With Your Home-Based Business

Donald Trump does it. So does his ex-wife Ivana. Even hotel heiress Paris Hilton has been bitten by the bug. The business bug, that is. It is said that if you want to make big money, do not become an employee, become a businessman. Although business is not always about the Benjamins, it would not hurt if you cashed in plenty from all your hard work, talent and efforts. Here are ways you can make money with your home-based business without guilt:

Find a business that has a market.

We know what you're thinking: 'Duh! Why sell something that no one likes? ' However, you'd be surprised to know that new entrepreneurs actually make the mistake of diving right in without really understanding the market for their products.

Try and do research about the type of home-based business you want to get into. How will you compete? What's the current pricing scheme? What can you offer that will allow you to sell more or at a higher price?

Always sell quality.

In business, you have two choices: sell low quality stuff at discount prices and hope to mass market or put a high price on your high quality merchandise and enjoy the profits. If you can offer quality in your products and services, customers remember you and trust you. As a result, they not only want to do business with you, they'll also expand your market through referrals, a free form of marketing for your business.

Always seek to improve your business and involve your customers and clients. Ask for feedback, consider what can be done and constantly evolve.

Watch the profit margins on your products.

When you go into a home-based business, consider the type of overhead and miscellaneous expenses you will incur as part of your operations. You may be running a business from home but that does not mean you should not charge for power or facilities, for example.

During the planning stages of your business, try and compute for your break-even point. This will help you determine how fast or slow your business is going. Determine also the best pricing scheme for your products and / or services. See if selling low-margin products en masse is more effective than selling a few high-margin products. If you can handle it, combine the two.

Do not be afraid to market to big companies.

A common mistake among home-based business owners is the belief that they should limit their market to individuals and small companies. Although there's money to be made here, they will also be neglecting high-profit deals with medium- to large-sized companies.

If your market consists mostly of small companies and organizations, take good care of them. However, try to get in touch with larger companies. They might ignore you, they might not. Just make sure you present your company and products in a good way. If your products or service are top quality, you have a chance to edge out your competitors.

Do not be afraid to let go.

If there are bad apples in your basket, would not you throw them away? The same holds true for your business. Some products or services you may be offering may not give you the type of ROI you want. If you're selling at a loss or for a very low profit margin that is not worth your time and effort, consider removing the merchandise from your selection. If you want to make cash drain and then eliminate, innovate or modify items that do not work.
