The Gulf has been thrown into crisis after several countries officially cut ties with Qatar. Three members of the GCC have expelled Qatar’s diplomats and have given its nationals 2 weeks to leave. All have accused their Gulf neighbour of supporting terorrism in the region. Qatar, now isolated in a hostile environment, remains defiant calling the allegations unjustified and baseless.
